General description
Pocket QuickPaster is a productivity tool for those who appreciate time and are willing to save it.
Simple and easy to use, QuickPaster is a tool that allows you to enter and store in categories any high-usage text
fragments: phrases, typical emails and signatures, notes, weekly/daily reports, meeting notes, tasks, email
addresses, contact information etc. You will never need to retype a text once entered and saved in QuickPaster, but
just by tapping stylus you will be able to copy this text to clipboard and use it when needed in any application.
QuickPaster will save your time from routine typing the same text over and over!

Templates
Any text fragment, entered to QuickPaster, is stored as a separate template. Each template should have its unique Short Name,
specified by you or generated automatically by QuickPaster. It is recommended to assign templates with your own mnemonic names,
as it will ease your further work with composite templates. Templates can be composite, i.e. include links to other
templates besides general text. A template is linked to another template with its Short Name as {{ShortName}}.
Number of links in one template is unlimited, but only one-level embedding is allowed, i.e. a template cannot contain
an already composite template. The full text of a composite template is generated from the texts of the other templates
directly before copying to clipboard. You can also move created templates from one category to another.

Categories
Categories in QuickPaster serve to group templates and allow you to organize the stored information in a way that is
optimal for you. For example, you can create "Business Mail" category for all your templates concerning business
emails, and your private templates may be stored in the "Private Mail" category. To each created category you can
assign a name (does not need to be unique) and an icon from the QuickPaster set of icons. You can create unlimited amount of
categories, but you cannot create sub-categories. Amount of templates in a category is unlimited.

Special categories - Favorites and Macros
There are two predefined categories in QuickPaster: Favorites and Macros.
Favorites category is intended to keep links to your high-usage templates (but not the templates themselves)
for faster access. You can add a link to any of your templates to Favorites.
Macros category consists of a fixed set of special templates:
- macros with DT prefix provide information on time and date in a format set by "Regional Settings" of your Pocket PC.
- macros with OI prefix provide information on the Pocket PC owner taken from the "Owner Information" of the system data.
All macros form their content at the moment of usage (moment of copying to clipboard), thus always providing
up-to-date information on time, date and owner. You cannot change the set of macros in the Macros category,
but you can use them in (composite) templates.
NOTE: You cannot delete or rename Favorites and Macros categories.
Macro-templates cannot be deleted, renamed or moved to another category.
Favorites links cannot be moved to another category.

Data storage
All text information that you have entered to QuickPaster is stored in QuickPaster.dat file in "\My Documents" folder on your
Pocket PC. It is recommended that you add this file to the list of data for regular backup. It will prevent you
from loosing data entered to your QuickPaster in case emergency. When you first launch QuickPaster you will see several
sample categories with a set of templates besides Favorites and Macros. You can edit them on your choice or delete.
